This is my first serger. I’m thrilled with the instructional video it came with, the easy to use manual, and the quality of this machine. Nancy recommends practicing threading daily until you’re comfortable. It didn’t take long! Adjusting tensions is also clearly explained. It has a number of features I couldn’t get without spending much more money and comes with lots of accessories. I easily found the needles online too. I can hardly wait to try out all the stitches this machine is capable of. I’m an experienced seamstress but a novice about serging. I feel confident I’ll be able to use the EZ Lock without difficulty. I’m very happy with the speed and simplicity sewing is now. I’ll always have my sewing machine – but boy am I glad I finally bought a serger!

I love Amazon – I ordered this item Dec.3 around 6pm. It was delivered Dec.5 at 11 am. Incredible.
I needed a new serger to replace my old faithful “white superlock” that decided to surrender after 25 years of service. I checked many stores, many brands, but prices were too high. In checking Amazon, I knew I found the winner. I trust “Sewing with Nancy”. She will not put her name on inferior product. I was right. I have tried the machine today and was very satisfied of the results. I have not figure out the quick threading yet, but even the manual threading was not that hard.
Only complain is the DVD, inaudible sound – but no matter, I have the manual.
A definite 5 stars for this serger. Thk you Amazon and Thk you Sewing with Nancy.

This is my first serger and I was a little intimidated by the thoughts of learning to thread it etc. but this was SO E_Z just like the name implies.
Color coded guide is right there on the door and the instructional DVD answered all my questions even before I used it for the first time. I was up and serging in just a few days and feeling confident about adjusting the threads and tensions to create different looks. I love this machine and think it was a great value. Nancy Z products ROCK!

I received my Sewing With Nancy SWN10 EZ Lock Serger machine within the time expected, packed safely and securely. I had never used a serger before, but, always wanted one. Soon, I had it out of the box and was learning to thread it. This is a heavy and sturdy machine. I tried it out on different fabrics, made adjustment and I really got the hang of it. I couldn’t believe how user friendly this machine could be. The handbook and DVD were very helpful. I would recommend this machine to anyone that was looking for a good serger.
